Robert Plant perfoms at Abbey Road Studios - Zacron Art is Auctioned for Charity

Zacron's Art and Photography is put on show at Abbey Road Studios

and auctioned for Great Almond Street Hospital.

This splendid event organised by Light and Sound was held in the main studio at

Abbey Road in London.  The Artist met David Grey and Robert Plant who performed

while electronic bids were taken from the distinguished audience.

Zacron and David Grey were interviewed on film for posterity by Light and Sound.

They may be viewed under 'Portraits of the Artist and Friends' on this site.

Robert Plant sung magnificently in the company of The London Oriana Choir.

Zacron was on stage to present his Led Zeppelin III Rock Album Cover as it was

auctioned for charity.  The artist also spoke with Sir George Martin who directed

The Beatles at Abbey Road, and Bob Harris of 'Old Grey Whistle Test' fame,

who he last met back stage at the Led Zeppelin Concert at Earls Court.

Other than Peter Grant and the Band, they were the only two associates present!

Zacrons art, including a photograph made in 1970 showing the artist at home with

the four members of the band (above) was soled for over six thousand pounds, contibuting

to the two hundred thousand pounds raised on the night.
