Photography - Images and writing

Welcome to the portfolio of Zacron photography.

In 1970 while working with Led Zeppelin, Zacron visited Andy Warhol in New York. He returned with a collection of powerful photographs of the city that captured the era. Images of rock stars and show business personalities followed, together with fashion photography, including sessions for advertising, industrial studies and marketing. The artist works from a vast archive of photographs including digital technology, and continues to make images each day as an integrated part of his multi-media process.

Following a national tour that included multiple-slide projectors, sound and live performance, Zacron made in 2006 a moving sequence of images with text for the BBC. The theme – ‘Art is human ecology’. The show has carved a path as a statement about lost freedom and is a poignant insight into our current world.

In 2008 Zacron won an international award for Outstanding Achievements in Photography.

All the photographs are for sale and unless otherwise stated, are posted to you free of charge (UK). Your print will be hand-signed by the artist, and made using lightfast pigment inks onto 305gsm acid-free satin-finished paper, calibrated to exactly match the photographer’s specifications. Dimensions include the border allowing each image to be framed complete.  You may choose to enlarge the format with an acid-free mount, and there are some notes below to advise you about archivally framing your photograph.
